This started off in response to comments on an article I DIGGed. There are a lot of idiots on DIGG pushing Global warming and calling anyone who disputes their so called theory deniers.

I have plenty of facts that Global warming is a hoax as do all of us who KNOW that global warming/climate change is a scam and the only people claiming it exists stand to profit from making us change our life styles or are their blind followers. Which are you? If you believe in Global warming because leftist media or school teachers told it's a fact, Where are their facts? All made up, distortions and outright lies. It is a THEORY and theories are open to question and change all the time. These are the same people who were telling us climate theory said we were going to have another ice age in the early 1970s.

Owl Gore is the biggest hypocrite and liar around, he is one of the biggest personal users of energy in Tennessee, has a mine (believe it is Nickel but not sure) on his property that is on the EPA clean up list and is a major seller of "carbon Credits". GE makes CFL lights, wind turbines, selling Carbon Credits and is HEAVILY supporting climate change and a MAJOR supporter of Obama and others who are trying to push this lie on you. see GE's incestuous relationship with Obama

Now Oboma and the Democrats in Congress Pelosie and Reed are trying to push through carbon taxes which will drive your energy costs through the roof. Oboma has been quoted as saying he wanted to see gas/fuel prices over $5 a gallon so you would have to give up your cars and use public transportation when he was a senator. I though he said he wasn't going to raise your taxes.. Also said his administration and bills would be transparent and open and published on the Internet for what was it 15 days? So You the public can see what is going on. Then why are they trying rush all this legislation through with out publishing it on the Internet where you can see it and passing it in the middle of the night when even your congress persons have not READ WHAT THEY ARE VOTING ON. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!! They are trying to take control of everything from banking, insurance, auto industry, energy and now your health care. If that isn't socialism then what is? Socialism has failed every where it has been implemented. Name me one thing government does well. Well!? Social Security is going broke, Medicare is nearly broke and full of corruption, the veterans administration has terrible health care and you want these people to "fix the heath care crisis" they claim exists? Our government controlled schools suck, they don't teach they brain wash kids with liberal ideals. I could go on and on about how about everything the government does sucks but I'm getting off track here. There isn't ONE thing government has ever done that hasn't been extremely more expensive than what they said it would be in the beginning. Oboma has already doubled the deficit since he has been in office and if everything they have passed so far is implemented will spend more money we don't have than ALL the presidents before him combined and he's still spending more!! The Democrats are running the economy with all this spending and are destroying the value of the dollar by printing money to cover their insane spending spree. We are so far in debt that China and the middle east don't want give us any more credit!

Several of the links document how poorly sited the stations which are saying there is any warming going on. Next to AC units, in parking lots and other artificial heat sources, not anywhere close to the specifications for correctly measuring temperature. It is a fact for the last few years we have been experiencing global COOLING. The earths climate changes because of the SUN primarily, not anything man is doing. The sun as been at solar minimum for the last few years and has had a lack of sun spots not seen in decades.

Don't Let E-Verify Die

Grassfire has just learned that one of the most effective and
efficient resources in the ongoing struggle to protect citizens
from the infiltration of illegal aliens is in danger of being
terminated!

E-Verify is a free, easy to use on-line system that provides
U.S. employers with a way to verify the employment eligibility
of all new hires. This program has the potential to end the
unlawful U.S. jobs magnet, and in short, is America's best
hope for solving the problem of illegal immigration.

Hailed as perhaps one of the only few un-broken parts of the
immigration system and it is now under attack from key members
of the Senate, most notably Majority Leader Reid and Senator Menendez.

Senator Menendez is blackmailing E-verify, and won't release
the bill for vote unless the Senate agrees to add another
550,000 permanent green cards to the 1.1 million immigrants
already expected to come in 2009.

Unless Menendez releases his hold, E-Verify will
die in November. This is outrageous and cannot happen!

Call your senators.

When calling, here are some talking points:

-Demand your Senators approach Sen. Menendez
urging him to release his grip on this bill (S. 6633) and then
fast-track it to a vote.

- Let them know that you are watching their actions and will
hold them accountable!

Again, we have only until November to impact this issue--one
of the only successful components of our broken immigration system.
Please take decisive action with us and call today.

Dangerous gun control bill in US Senate

HR 2640 is the most dangerous far-reaching assault on your Second Amendment Rights since the Democrats gained control of Congress!



Congress is authorizing $750 million to make a substantial expansion to the instant background check database -- the very system that is violating our Constitutional right to keep and bear arms. This new money will be used to collect and store your personal information including your medical records.



HR 2640 will allow shrinks (psychologists and psychiatrists) and bureaucrats to decide who can own and possess firearms. Currently under the National Instant Check System (NICS) a person becomes a prohibited person, regarding firearms possession, when that person is "adjudicated a mental defective," "by a Court." HR 2640 removes your due process rights, and greatly expands the definition of a "prohibited person" to anyone who, in the opinion of any shrink or government bureaucrat, could possibly be a danger to oneself or another. For example, under HR 2640 you won't be able to call witnesses on your behalf; in fact, there won't even be a hearing.



Many of our great service men and women would be prohibited from owning firearms, if, when returning from serving our country, they are labeled "dangerous" because of a visit to doctor for stress. We all know that our great service men and women see and experience situations that may continue to give them nightmares. Are these events good reasons to permanently ban firearms ownership for these individuals? They just finished serving our country and now they may be barred from even owning the firearms they used to defend this great nation. This was tried by the Clinton administration; the names of 83,000 veterans were sent to NICS to become prohibited persons. Under HR 2640 these 83,000 veterans would be banned as well as thousands more.



HR 2640 also expands the list of "prohibited persons" by allowing shrinks to decide who is a "danger". We already know that many "professionals" in the psychiatric field believe that a firearm in the hands of any American is dangerous and therefore no person should have them. You can imagine the utter chaos this legislation will create!



Any medical "professional" could also make a similar determination. We already know that many pediatricians believe that any household with firearms is "dangerous," even if they are properly stored. Senior citizens who have trouble balancing their checkbooks could become prohibited persons under a finding of "disability" or "incapacity.



Closet anti-gun politicians love legislation such as this. So far, politicians have hidden behind voice votes on this bill. HR 2640 is a Trojan horse. It sounds justified on the outside with promises of keeping mental defectives from having firearms, but a closer look at the details reveals a huge expansion in those who will become a prohibited person; an expansion that could potentially include most Americans.



Washington insiders think gun owners will be fooled by their veiled attempts to ban firearm ownership. They'll go to great lengths to silence the grassroots, and to absolve themselves of responsibility if it does pass (and becomes yet another tool to the gun banners).



Just witness the latest issue of the American Rifleman. They admit that gun owners are mad, and have been contacting them.



And then they attempt to justify their support of this bill by saying "Trust us".



Well, we don't trust them. And we certainly don't trust Cong. Carolyn McCarthy. Nor do we trust Sen. Patrick Leahy,

It is simply wrong to penalize US Citizens by eliminating due process and assuming they are guilty until proven innocent. I encourage you to stand against the anti-gun Leahy bill, the Senate version of HR 2640, which the House passed when leadership snuck it through .
